HI FRIENDS! We would like to invite you to participate in a new publication by Power Plant Press! We are launching a bi-yearly zine called Square Meal that juxtaposes food and photography but not like you’ve seen before. Here’s what we need: We would like you to submit a recipe (either one that you’ve found, an old family favorite, or your own) and a photo. The photo, however, should not depict the food the recipe produces. Rather one is inspired by or inspiring of the other. Explore how the two complement/oppose/complicate/etc. each other. Feel free to send explanations or anecdotes with your submission. Food photography is getting a bit boring, no one cares what you ate for breakfast, let’s try something new!  The next issue will come out in the spring and will be food for warm weather (or HOT issue) the next will be for colder temperatures (or COLD issue). Please submit for the warm weather issue. Please submit by March 15, zine will launch on National Garlic Day.  Lettuce know if you have any questions! & if you know people who would want to submit pass this along!
